Hello All Escambia Academy Family,
On behalf of the Board of Directors and Administration, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
2015 has been a very good year for students and our school. In May, the 27 graduates brought home $1.5 million in scholarships. This year our students have been involved in many community events, recognized for their academic and athletic achievements locally, regionally and nationally. Our website and Facebook page have been dramatically improved so please check them both out. Our PTO has been reactivated and conducted a fantastic fall festival. The Athletic Club is in the final stages of paying off the Bachelor Field lights. We have been strategically reducing our overall debt. The elementary school is currently having the interior and exterior paint stripped and repainted. Playground equipment is being upgraded over the Christmas break. Quality teacher hires are ongoing. Escambia Academy’s future is very bright indeed.
We have a lot to be grateful for, and it would not be possible without the support of the members of the EA family. Your commitment is beyond compare and says much about your dedication to providing the best opportunities for your children’s future.
Of special note, we have a tuition cost lower than any other private school in the region, usually lower than an average family cell phone bill. This is achieved by generous private donations and fundraisers. We wanted to take this time to remind all members the successful “30 Guns in 30 Days” will be conducted in 2016 with a slight twist. We will be drawing each gun starting April 1 and ending on April 30 as we did last year. On the last day we will take the list of winners and enter them into a special drawing for a 31st gun, guaranteeing someone will win a second gun. This is to increase interest in the dynamic fundraiser. We will be actively seeking sponsors of donors for guns. Sponsors will be widely advertised and donations are tax deductible. We encourage you to get the word out for this very unique raffle opportunity–Christmas is the perfect time to mention this to family and friends you don’t normally see and secure ticket sales in advance. The finalized rules and tickets will be available starting mid January 2016. More details to be forthcoming.
