Mr. Wade Heigle is joining the Escambia Academy family to work with Headmaster David Walker to transition into the Headmaster role.

By | Newsletter

Dear Escambia Academy Family Members, Teachers and Staff

We are delighted to announce Mr. Wade Heigle is joining the Escambia Academy family to work with Headmaster David Walker to transition into the Headmaster role. David will mentor Wade in the accreditation process since we are up for AISA accreditation during the 2017-2018 school year. At the end of the school year David will assume a teaching position on staff. We hope David will be with us many years to come.

Wade’s first day is today, Monday, November 28. He will be meeting with the faculty and staff after school for introductions. We will be conducting a meet and greet event in the upcoming weeks. However, if you see Wade around the campus, be sure to welcome him to the school.

Wade comes highly recommended, bringing new ideas for growing and improving EA. He has great enthusiasm for working with the parents and staff. Wade has worked for many years as Headmaster in multiple private schools in Mississippi and Louisiana and without exception, Wade has dramatically improved the educational and financial health of each school he has overseen.

Thank you for joining us in welcoming Wade and his wife Jodi to the EA family.

Regards,

Escambia Academy Board of Directors

IRIS

By | News

Escambia Academy will be utilizing the IRIS (Immediate Response Information System) Alert system for emails, phone messages, and text messages for information which needs to be quickly shared with our membership.  IRIS will be used to notify parents/family members of changes in athletic schedules, messages for certain groups (grades, teams), etc. IRIS will also be used in the event of an emergency involving the school or community, such as weather issues, campus issues, etc.

Please note the IRIS messages will come from the following email and phone number:

EscambiaAcademy@irisalert.com

Phone Number: 281-207-4890

This email address will not accept replies so if you need to ask a question about the email, please forward it to an email address at “eacougar.com” for the person who is responsible for If the recipient is unable to answer the phone call and/or does not have voice mail, you can call the 281-207-4890 number back and hear the message that was originally sent.

Please be aware of the email address and phone number–it is probably a good idea to identify this phone number in your contacts as “EA IRIS alert” or something similar so you do not ignore a message from this number.

The “EAHeadmaster@eacougar.com” email will continue to be used for general information and any forms or attachments.

We hope this will continue to improve our communication with our families.
